This is further to our earlier advertisement for admission into Part-Time programme OF Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana, Ebonyi State. Candidates with (5) relevant O’Level subjects, who scored 100 marks and above in the 2024 UTME but could not be offered admission are invited to apply for admission into Part-Time Programme. Also, candidates with relevant O’ level subjects of their chosen courses but did not sit for UTME can also apply for National Diploma (ND) Part-Time Programme.
Candidates with National Diploma qualifications who have completed Nine (9) months to twelve (12) months period of Industrial Training are invited to apply for Higher National Diploma (HND) Part-Time Programme.
DURATION
Part-Time for National Diploma and Higher National Diploma proggrammes are for a period of three (3) years as specified by the JAMB and NBTE regulation.
TIME FOR LECTURES
The lectures are scheduled mainly for afternoon/evening period.
CATEGORIES OF CANDIDATES INVITED FOR APPLICATION:
- Candidates that could not be offered admission in Regular programme due to large population
- Those that have relevant O’Level subjects but did not write UTME or have UTME wrong subject combinations not suitable for any course
- Candidates that are engaged in the morning period due to the nature of their job or other issues
- Business men and women that desire to enhance their education
QUALIFICATION
National Diploma
O’Level and other requirement(s) as specified by the joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA
- Original copy of O’Level or Certificate
- Original copy of National Diploma Statement of Result obtained from NBTE Accredited Institution
- Original copy of Completion of Industrial Training: CGPA 2.5 and above, (Nine) Months to One (1) year. Below 2.5= Eighteen (18) months to Two (2) years.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
NATIONAL DIPLOMA – PART TIME
- Visit State JAMB office for application, with the print out from JAMB.
- Thereafter, applicants should visit the Polytechnic’s website https://www.akanuibiampoly.edu.ng ad complete the online Admission Screening Application Form
HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA – PART TIME
- Applicants should visit the Polytechnic website indicated above and complete the online Admission Screening Application Form
APPLICATION FEE
The fee for National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Part-Time is Five Thousand (N5,000.00) only
